History
Out the Trunk Clothing Co. began from the decision to make unique Houston based apparel for proud Houstonians and fans alike.
With the Astros clinching the division, we set out to make a design that tied Houston culture with local athletes. Deriving from the early success of Rookie Houston Astros ballplayer Yordan Alvarez, we couldn't have picked a better match.
Made wildly popular by the Houston group Swishahouse, the hit song Still Tippin' (2008) repeats the lyrics "still tippin' on four fours" which became the premise of the design. Coinciding with Yordan's jersey number, I was inspired to create my first shirt, Tippin on 44s.
Our ultimate goal from the brand is to drive the business to provide cause-based apparel and goods that anyone would be proud to wear, knowing they are helping support the community.4s.
Thank you for your support and God Bless.
